  • 2000 national informatics olympiad 3rd prize. algorithms ftw
  • 2001 started computer science school
  • 2003
    • learned PHP
    • started a tiny e-commerce business from my dorm.
    • started using Debian, deleted my win2k partition.
    • partnered up with Dragos at SNS.  entrepreneurship ftw
    • started to grow an engineering team

    • opened a remote office 
    • the Perl community: hundreds of hours on irc.perl.org learning unit tests, git, unicode, API design, functional programming, database modelling, versioning, migrations, design patterns, meta programming, maintaining libraries, contributing to open source

    • started going to the perl conferences . befriended my mentors.
    • started two startup products at SNS: deals site,  dropcam-like security
    • started going to therapy. changed my life
  • 2008 started Sinapticode as a SNS spin-off.  shipped tons of awesome software. Basically mr Wolf for tech problems, big and small, most appearing impossible.

    • co-founded coolcoz, a fundraising platform. I didn’t commit enough and it eventually died 🙁
